I taught an instrument repair course at a university for 25 years. My book, through pictures and step-by-step instructions cover all the basic saxophone repair procedures in order of difficulty from corking keys to pad replacement and key assembly. It is a way to gradually put together a repair kit of tools as well.

The book is titled "The Saxophone Handbook-a Complete Guide to Tone, Technique, Performance & Maintenance" by Douglas D. Skinner. It is available through Amazon or Berklee Press as well as other stores for about $15.
